Care information included. Exclusively from Eastern Leaf. Bonsai tree shape may vary. Bonsai may arrive with training wire applied to the tree.

Pruning Tips:
The Cedars foliage can be maintained by pinching them back. Their dense needle growth can be thinned to the desired shape.

Fertilizing:
We recommend fertilizing your bonsai tree every month with a bonsai fertilizer. Time-release granules are the easiest to use and can be added every season. Reduce the amount of fertilizer during the winter. Take care not to over-fertilize as this can cause your foliage to burn or grow too leggy.

Lighting:
The Cedar Bonsai trees need partial to full sun. If placed in full sun, take care to manage your watering to prevent your tree from drying out.

Temperature Requirements:
The Cedar is resilient to varying degrees of temperature, from warm and dry to cold and snow. However, protect from hotter conditions.

Watering Requirements:
Cedars tolerate dryer soil much better than over-watering. Watering the tree daily and monitoring the wetness of the soil is recommended. One of the most important things to remember about the Cedar is that it must have good drainage.

Repotting:
Repotting is recommended in early spring to ensure the best results.

Indoor / Outdoor:
The Cedar Bonsai thrives best in outdoor conditions.
